Andreas Strauss has spent years practicing and perfecting a research method and lifestyle based upon the intensive movement between places and disciplines.
Strauss' work in multiple media and team constellations are often practiced as transfer; formats and functions freed from one context and shifted into another. Such shifts, between public and private space, arts and city space, centre and margin, art and consumption, operate as illuminating and critical maneuvers making social conditioning visible. Strauss is not afraid of experimenting upon himself.
