Tim Stock is the co-founder of scenarioDNA, an innovation consultancy that leverages the union of consumer anthropology with data science to advise clients on how culture is working and evolving. He is the co-inventor of a patented methodology of Culture Mapping that analyzes linguistic patterns in structured and unstructured data to uncover trend narratives and forecasts. He has used this methodology to advise commercial clients such as Nike, IKEA, The Clorox Company and Russian Standard Vodka. The methodology has also been leveraged to understand broader social phenomenon such as education, climate change and political protest.
Tim is also a Part-Time Assistant Professor at Parsons the New School for Design, where he has been teaching courses in trend analysis and design research since 2006.
